We had a great time on our fieldtrip to the Children's Theater and Minneapolis Institute of Art, on Wednesday! Our fieldtrip adventure started last week when we started talking about Cinderella and reading different books about her. One of the books was called The Egyptian Cinderella. Then we had a visit from Ms. Elsen's sister and brother-in-law. Her brother-in-law grew up in Egypt and came to teach us about the country. It was very interesting. He is making a bookmark for each of us out of Papyrus! The play at the Children's Theater was so entertaining! We laughed, we danced, we screamed and shouted too! We even cried a bit (well..Mrs. Dahl did). Then we visited the Minneapolis Institute of Art. It was amazing to see different art from around the world; that was from thousands of years ago and worth millions of dollars! It was a wonderful experience for all!
