"I am thankful for clothes on my back and a roof on my head."-Mina "I am thankful for technology, because you can do a lot of things on it to help you learn."-Trent "I am thankful for book "I am thankful for my health, my family and my awesome 3rd graders!"-Mrs. Dahl We had a great time on our fieldtrip to the Children's Theater and Minneapolis Institute of Art, on Wednesday! Our fieldtrip adventure started last week when we started talking about Cinderella and reading different books about her. One of the books was called The Egyptian Cinderella. Then we had a visit from Ms. Elsen's sister and brother-in-law. Her brother-in-law grew up in Egypt and came to teach us about the country. It was very interesting. He is making a bookmark for each of us out of Papyrus! The play at the Children's Theater was so entertaining! We laughed, we danced, we screamed and shouted too! We even cried a bit (well..Mrs. Dahl did). Then we visited the Minneapolis Institute of Art. It was amazing to see different art from around the world; that was from thousands of years ago and worth millions of dollars! It was a wonderful experience for all!
For those of us who reached 30 minutes of IXL in a week, we celebrated with lunch in the classroom! The last 2 pictures I forgot to post from the last IXL Celebration! Keep up the great math work! Just think, you are getting smarter in math too!
