We have researched, prepared, painted, made posters and a Comic Life project all about our planet.. We worked in teams! Here we are with our final product!
We have been learning about planets. We've spent time researching on books and online with our planet partners! We created and painted planets with paper mache. We are beginning to make posters and will present the information we learned to the class!
Some of these pictures might be repeats! I just realized how many pictures I have on my phone! Lots more pictures to come!
Here are a few pictures of activities we are doing to help us get through these cold winter days! Check out the picture of how high the snow is on our window! We already brought a bouquet of spring into our hallway! It brightens our day when we look at it! A few of these pictures are doing dance videos on YouTube! We are moving as much as we can!
We will soon be starting an activity called 100 Days Happy. It is from a Facebook post I am following. It is finding something happy in your day and documenting it. Adults would do this through the computer Facebook, Twitter, etc) We will do it with paper. The challenge is to take 5 minutes to acknowledge something good each day. I decided to do it on our snow day, when I was sitting at home being crabby. I thought it would be fun for the kids to try too. When we are done, it will be June! If you would like to try it the website is www.100happydays.com Here are a few pictures from our Valentine's Day! Thanks to you for taking time to come to conferences. It is a joy to work with your children each day!
We had a few of the Eagan High School Boys Hockey Team here to read to us; Ian, Max and Josh! Their message to the third graders...Schoolwork comes first before any sports or other activities you do! They were a great role model for us!
